The After School Club is a non-denominational school aged child care program that is located at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Woburn, MA. The church is sited on ten acres of woods and allows the children a unique opportunity for some good old fashioned fun.
Since September of 1995, we have provided children with an environment which is structured and carefully supervised, but allows opportunities for individual choices. Our daily schedule always includes homework time, reading time, and active play in the gym or outdoors. We also offer a balanced menu of large and small group activities which include sports, arts and crafts, music, cooking, and board games to name a few, all the time emphasizing the values of cooperation, sharing, respect, and responsibility.
We are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care to provide a safe and caring place for up to 52 children per day. Our highly qualified and experienced staff are trained in first aid and CPR.

The After School Club is a joint ministry of the two Woburn churches, the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and the United Methodist Church. It was created in response to expressed community need for additional after school care that is both high in quality and affordable in price.
The activities offered fulfill a two-fold need. For working parents, the program answers the question of where their child will be during the after school hours by providing a safe, stimulating environment. For the child, it fulfills the needs to be part of a group, to enjoy recreation, and to learn new skills. Participants in this program are in an environment which is structured and supervised carefully, but which allows opportunities for individual choice. Our experienced and mature staff provides excellent adult role models for our children.
